Ok so a month and a half later I am finally posting our Thanksgiving Activities.  Sorry it took me so long.  I switched blog platforms, had sick kiddos, holiday and birthday festivities, a death of a loved one and just normal, daily, crazy life.  So here we go.

She worked on some prewriting skills.

Next she worked on matching and counting. She did really well on this one.

She worked on different letters for Thanksgiving.

For this activity, I would put a number tile down and she would put the correct number of feathers on the turkey. She wasn't into this activity so much.

Bella had to count the objects on the card and then find the corresponding number tile that she glued on.

We did some Turkey dot art.

Then the kiddos made a turkey craft where they painted a paper.  The next day I cut circles from what they painted and the turkey body and I let them all glue it together.  I let Bella draw the face on her turkey :-D

Disclaimer:

All photos of activities seen are just a moment in time in our day and the activity itself.  Don’t be fooled, those happy smiles are not there the entire length of the activity.  We are real people here too, people who struggle with sharing, OCD, being tired, apathy and the like.  These photos are just to show what the activities are and a reminder to self of what we have done and where we have come.
